Years in IT—

My first mainframe job—
I was 14 when I sat in front of a computer. It was as if I knew my friend the IBM s/360. I started at Banc Exterior at Spain as an operator and I finished as a system programmer. I left this company after 15 years and I started as software distributor at Selesta Spain. There were many years working with solutions like Candle (Omegamon), Syncsort, Serena, CDB, Neon and others, always related to t IBM mainframe platform.

My favorite mainframe attribute—
I am sure about one thing: without IBM Mainframe I would not have had this professional race. I have known/know about others platforms but none so hard, stable, reliable and scalable as IBM mainframe. Although I have worked with competitor solutions against IBM, they would not have made sense without having running  an IBM mainframe platform.
