IBM Enterprise Platform Software—Partner Programs
Years in IT—
My first mainframe job—
I joined IBM as an information design engineer, supporting some of IBM’s earliest releases of application-development tools designed for the mainframe programmer.
My favorite mainframe memory—
Years ago, mainframe products were each shipped with a complete library of printed books, which would take up entire bookshelves in a data center. The IT landscape for enterprise computing has and continues to change rapidly with IBM System z now leveraging a unique hybrid computing model that allows data centers to optimize workload deployment on best-fit technologies—optimizing the use of mainframe and distributed system resources to drive down overall costs. A focus on product design, end user information requirements, advances in the delivery of integrated hardware/software solutions and more intuitively accessible IT has allowed for a complete change in the way consumers are adopting and more quickly exploiting new software capabilities.
