The seventh annual IBM Destination z Enterprise Computing Scholarship program is accepting applications through Dec. 12.

To be considered for this scholarship, students must demonstrate excellence in their enterprise computing coursework as well as plans for continued growth on the mainframe in their academic and professional careers. The top scholarship recipient will earn the Greg Zaubi Memorial Scholarship.

Eligible students must attend a post-secondary school in the U.S. that’s both a member of the IBM Academic Initiative and Destination z. A list of member schools is available here. Schools can register by filling out a form on ibm.com

Applications can be downloaded here and the winning applicants will be announced in January.

This year’s scholarship sponsors include IBM, INNOVATION Data Processing, Rocket Software and Vicom Infinity. For information about how to become a scholarship sponsor, visit the donation page. The Destination z community looks forward to continuing to encourage the next generation of enterprise systems professionals.
